Umar Naseer refuses that he was terminated from DRP officially

Terminated deputy leader of opposition Dhivehi Rayyitunge Party (DRP) Umar Naseer has accepted he was dismissed from the party legally. Umar Naseer never accepted in front of media that he was dismissed from the party DRP but he confesses it in the early days. He also said he never made any statement that can be provided the right meaning of the termination. Adding to that Umar Naseer also mentioned hearing from the court room that he was removed from DRP register at elections commission will not be referred as any party group.

Z-Faction Blames President Nasheed saying that he is Misusing Public Assets

The sudden news by Z-Faction of Dhivehi Rayyitunge Party (Z-DRP) has blamed that president Nasheed is using state property for his campaign election in 2013.In a Press conference held at the former president Maumoon Abdul Qayoom office the media director of Z-faction Ahmed Nihan Said" People of the Maldives have been cut off their basic needs “health service of the Maldives have gone worse because of error policies by the government. And Also Nihan said that President nasheed's only 2 and half of his presidential ruling days he stated to misuse the state properties to win his presidential election on 2013:and he always move ahead with his personal interest over the public. President nasheed was blamed by the Z-faction that he is selling public properties to foreign parties to get monetary aid for his campaign.

Qayoom was past, President Nasheed is the most appealing leader - said Alhan Fahmy

Feydhoo MP Alhan Fahmy said that although the most popular leader was the former president Maumoon Abdul Qayoom but now he believes that the current leader Nasheed is the most liking leader by the public as well as by him.

Speaking at “Siyaasee Fikuru” (Political Ideology) Programme on MNBC One, Alhan Fahmy said that Qayoom was the most popular leader because people who had the capacity of being political leaders were not given opportunities in his governing authority of his political unit.

“The main reason for President Gayoom for gaining popularity and was seen as the most capable and most qualified leader because there were no opportunities opened for other leaderships. Now when a new leader has come to us, we come to see that there are other people other than Gayoom who have the capability and potential of being great leaders who can serve the people of this country,” the Vice President of the Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) said.

Meanwhile, earlier before Alhan joined the ruling party Maldivian Democratic Party , speaking at the podium of the main opposition Dhivehi Rayyithunge Party (DRP), he said that Gayoom is a person who is deserving praise  for the building of capable educated youth in the country. However, after joining the ruling party, he said that Gayoom is also the major cause increasing Gang Violence, Theft, Murders, and Crime Rates among youths.

Even more, during the 2008 presidential election campaign, Alhan said that there is no leader in the Maldivian political field who can challenge the Former President Maumoon Abdul Qayoom. Whatever may or manner, Alhan said that no other leader can challenge President Nasheed in the coming 2013 Presidential Election.

Affordable Living Space -President Nasheed

President Mohamed Nasheed has said that goverment does not need aerospace engeniering or rocket science to provide a better living space speaking at "Veshi Fehi Male" programme held on tuesday.He handed over 10 relevent documents to individual people at the programme.“During the 30 years of the previous government, 682 plots [were awarded] in Male’ and Viligili and 1,060 flats were built in Male’ and Hulhumale’,” he said. “In the 30 months of the MDP [Maldivian Democratic Party] government, 500 plots were chosen from Hulhumale’ and the practical work of awarding 250 of those flat has begun today.”Also said his housing flats in hulhumale has begun and will be fully completed in a year."Veshi Fehi Male" was launched in 10th Novemember 2010 which aims to give healthy affordable living space to the people in Male',Viligili,GulhiFalhu,Hulhumale,Male'International Airport.
